National Fitness Day Event – TRAIN-ING STATION

National Fitness Day is a day that can help people start their fitness journeys and paths towards a better overall health both physically and mentally. We hope that by setting up our National Fitness Day event “Train-ing Station” in partnership with Network Rail we can help get the people of Birmingham on track to starting their new active lifestyles!

Our event will be held on the 22nd September at Birmingham New Street Station between 7:30am and 6pm. 

We have Unique U Sports & Fitness PT’s will be joining us to run the following classes –

  • CIRCUITS – 7:30am – 8:30am with CJ
  • MOBILITY, YOGA & TRX – 10am – 12pm with Kate
  • HIIT – 1pm – 2pm with Oli
  • LIFTING SESSION – 3:30pm – 4:30pm with CJ

Be sure to stick around after each class for mini competitions, challenges and much more! CJ, Kate or Oli from Unique U will also be sticking around to answer any of your health and fitness questions!

Tickets for all of the classes being run throughout the day will be available for attendees to register their interest on Eventbrite as there will be limited spaces available! You can also sign up on the day of the event! Once registering your interest, you will automatically be entered into a draw with the chance to WIN OVER £1000 worth of our equipment! A great way to get that home gym you always wanted off to a flying start! You are also able to on the day of the event by signing up!

Need a lunchtime escape from the desk? Then join us for some yoga! It is a slow paced exercise that has loads of health benefits, physically and mentally. It is known to help improve blood circulation as well as reduce chronic low back pain, which can often be caused by sitting at a desk all day long. Each yoga pose gets you one step closer to happiness and contentment, so come and join us!

For those not participating in any of the fitness classes… We will be setting up a gym full of Iron King equipment such as our squat racks and benches in the middle of New Street Station for people to come and use. We are encouraging individuals/groups to use this setup to get a feel for the quality of our gym equipment as well as using it to take on any sponsored challenges you are doing for charity! Or if you just want to take on a work colleague or friend in a competitive challenge to show who’s boss!
